Local Dems Sponsoring Holiday Movie Matinee

With the holiday shopping season just around the corner, Livingston County Democrats are sponsoring a movie matinee on Sunday, Nov. 15, featuring an entertaining documentary that examines Americans’ love-affair with holiday gift-giving.
The movie follows a troupe of singers across the country as they confront the holiday shopping frenzy head-on and ask what the holiday really means.
The movie will begin at 2 p.m., followed by an ice cream social. A donation of $10 per person or $15 per couple would be appreciated. The event will take place at party headquarters, 10321 E. Grand River, Suite 600, in Brighton. For more information, call 810-229-4212 or email livcodems@sbcuc.net.
